Very exciting news....but I need to figure out the dress situation. Dresses were ordered in January and I was told they would be ready by the end of June. I'm calling the salon when I'm out of work to discuss it with them, but what do you girls think? Do you think they will be able to make her dress bigger or will I have to order a new one? Do you think there is time for it to be in the same dye lot as the others? Any advice is appreciated. TIA

How far along is she? Maybe she will not be that big by then or just one dress size bigger. They can usually let the dresses out a little if need be.

HA...sorry I forgot important info. She is 2 months now, and is due in December. My wedding is Sept. 6. so she'll be 6 months along.

I would call the store and ask what your options are.. I'm sure this must happen a lot.. one of mine was PG also, hers was able to be taken out enough

my moh was 6 months for our wedding too - same scenario - she found out she was pregnant and it was too late to re-order.....she was able to order extra fabric from the bridal salon and they added panels on the sides to make the dress fit.
she look gorgeous!
pics in my album, she is the the tall thin girl that looks like my DH and you can barely tell she was pregnant!
she looked beautiful!

I feel like this type of thing probably happens frequently, and I'm sure the bridal salon will be able to accomodate you.

I dont thik she needs a different dress, call the place, they will know hw to andle it, things like that happen all the time.

Depending on the style of the dress, the salon can order a panel of fabric and add it to the dress to accommodate the baby bump.
congrats to your bridesmaid! I had 2 pregnant BMs for my wedding... the pics are so cute with their baby bumps.

One of my BMs was pregnant and she already bought the dress (dresses didn't have to be ordered) luckily Ann Taylor sells their fabrics, and her MIL fixed the dress... she can go to any seamstress...
Call the store and ask if she can change the size...

This happened to me. The took the bottom of the dress and put fabric in the tummy. She also bought 2 sizes bigger.
