A bit of drauma but in the end we picked a beautiful dress!!
Are you choosing the shoes for them?? I suggested picking 2-3 similar shoes that we like so at least they are not all different. My MOH was so upset that I would tell her what shoe to where. Any one else with this problem?

Thats a gorgeous dress. I too want to choose the shoes and the color. I may let them choose the shoe but I want them all to have the same and be the same color.

I like the dress.
I'm having my girls get black shoes of their choosing, I'm not picking the exact shoe just the color.
In the weddings I've been in, I've been able to pick my own shoes with some restrictions (silver strappy, black strappy, dyeables to match the dress). Since the dress is long, people won't really notice the shoes.

The dress is really pretty.
I'm not picking the shoe for them. I will just tell them I want all open toe and they can do the rest. I also will tell them the color to get but thats it. Its hard to pick a shoe that will be comfortable for everyone since everyone's feet are different.

Wow! the dress is beautiful! I love it! Since the dress is long, i dont think it is the crucial that all girls get matching shoes. My bm dress is a champagnish pink, so i am going to tell them to get strappy silver shoes. Your bms are the ones who will be wearing the shoe,and they have to wear what is comfortable to them. It's up to you but i would try to be as accomodating as possible if it were up to me..

I don't care of their shoes match or not, I just am telling them what color to wear. Some of my BM are coming from different countrys and also all the weddings I've been too I never once noticed the shoes.
If the dress was short I'm sure I'd feel differently

no i let them pick their own shoes- i just told them to wear white ones- I want them to be comfortable and while one shoe may be comfortable for one girl it may not be for the other
maybe you can give them a sort of a guideline but let them wear what they want- say ok black open toe you know whatever and let them choose from there- just a suggestion

Dress is GORGEOUS! I'm having my girls wear anything they want. Their dresses will be long and will hide the shoes anyway. AND I don't think ANYONE will be looking at their feet on my wedding day anyway!!! [not to sound conceited, but it's true! I've never looked at the BM's shoes!]

I've been in weddings where I was told what shoes to wear. I don't think it's a big deal. I am having my girls wear black dresses so they can wear whatever they want. I just want them to be comfortable all day.

I have been in weddings where I was asked to purchase a particular pair of shoes and others where we wore what we wanted. I am choosing (affordable) shoes for my girls because they are wearing tea length dresses.

Beautiful dress!
I told my BMs that as long as the shoes are brushed silver and open toed/sandal they can pick them out.

The dress is very pretty
About the shoes, I think I will have certain requests, like them all being the same color and similar in style, but maybe not the exact same shoe. But, on the other hand, my BM dresses are tea length, so I think maybe I will be a little more particular, but I wont tell them they have to wear a particular show with a particular heel. (that could all change, I might have slight bridezilla tendencies by the time they order their dresses & shoes!!!)

Love the dress!!! As far as the shoes.. I'm not a big help.. I am letting the girls wear whatever shoes they want.. in the same color of course
