I have a few dresses picked out that I think are nice but they need to try them on. They keep telling me we have time but in reality we don't.

they should go, bc you never know how long it will take to have the dress ordered....earlier is always better....

I have one bridesmaid that can never go and she is the one that has a different shape then all the other girls, so i get so frustrated and the best part is she is my bros gf.

i agree...i only have 3 bm's but they were never all together to go...plus, if you have more than 3, that is a lot of opinions on a dress to contend with. I say bring maybe 2 girls...the tallest girl and the shortest...or the two girls that are the most opposite in body type.

Honestly I would go with whoever was able to go and then if you find something you and the girls like who went, order it and tell whoever couldn't make it what you picked and tell them to go get measured.

i wish my friend took us to try our BM dresses on she just picked them out and told everyone to get them, i tried it on last week and am very unhappy....i called her up and she got pissed at me but is now coming to see what im talking about....i say take whoever can go, pick a couple choices and let the other girls know...im sure once they see the dresses theyll want to try them on

I'm SO with you!!! THREE MONTHS AGO, I emailed all my bms and asked to pick out a date we can all go and look for dresses. I did it early enough so I could make sure people were free and as the time got closer, if something came up, we could change it if neccessary. Well, we're supposed to go in 2 weeks and the other day I get an email from one of them inviting me to her daugher's b-day party on the same day!!! Hello?!?!?! She KNEW it was her b-day so why didn't she tell me ahead of time. And she said she was free that day. Obviously she must have forgot and being a good friend, I'm rescheduling so I can be at the party, but I really don't care now if everyone can make it or not. I'm just gonna make sure certain people are there and go.
that dress is great... however my bridesmaids and fh's sister might love that dress. huge hello kitty fans!!!

I say go w/o them. I did it and trust me, they will flock when they find out you picked out a dress and they haven't seen it. I just went w/ my mom and MOH.

I say pick a day and whoever can make it can make it...I have only taken my MOH and 1 BM ~ showed them my idea and they loved it! I discussed with the other girls and they say 'whatever I want ~ it is my day'
Remember two things 1- I work in a hospital and 2- i'm slow bc i'm pregnant so I have baby brain.
I was just reading a post about someones poop and when i read the heading BM'S are killing me....I thought bowl movement Then i'm thinking Why are people posting questions about thier poop
This baby is going to be so smart bc it has sucked all the brains right out of me!
By the way..Sorry to hear that your BM's are acting up! You should just pic a dress you like and tell them they are going to wear it. Maybe they will get thier act together!
