me to put a 'shower dress' aside for my upcoming shower!!!

FH brought like 5 of my dresses with him when we got to my shower, but I ended up not changing anyway.

that's what i had asked them! this is what i wrote...

'oh! and i know you guys want to surprise me with the shower.....but i’m thinking, should i buy a dress and give it to you guys? so that i can change into something pretty instead of my usual t shirts and Capri jeans? just a thought.'

but they won't let ME wear something nice...if i don't know when or where the shower is, i can't 'dress up' every saturday in august....they told me it's in august so i would schedule a w/e away or anything like that. it just makes me laugh.

But I dont understand why wont they 'LET YOU' buy a dress and give it to them? Its still a surprise?! And if its about the surprise then why even tell you its in August?! They should have left you wondering and tell FH the date and he could make an excuse as to why you dont want to go away...

TO ME it seems weird that your friends arent willing to take a dress there for you to change into.

I bought a dress, shoes and accessories and gave it to my mom and I had no idea the day of... She brought it with her and after I walked in a I went to the bathroom and changed into my dress...

I would tell them its your shower and you want to wear a dress to it, It doesnt ruin the surprise... THEY bring it you still have no idea when it is...

they said i can put it in my car and stop thinking about it.....they're just afraid that i'm going to get it out of them when it is! mmmwwwaahahahaha! (evil laugh)
