My boss got laid off!!
So I work in a private high school- as an admin not a teacher. I just started this year but we have lost a lot of families due to the economy etc for next year. I have to say that I dont love my boss...she was VERY difficult to work for and we definitely didnt see eye to eye at times although I tried my best. I feel sooo bad now though because she was just laid off. They apparently dont need another administrator and needed to let someone go. Even though she wasnt my fave person to work for, I still feel awful and it goes to show you that nobody is safe in this economy. I was so shocked when she told me. Anyway- I feel so bad for her and I just cant believe how awful it is out there. Even though I dont like my job...I consider myself lucky to be getting a paycheck.
