My bow hat is mocking me!!!!

What do I do with this thing?!?! It's just sitting in the corner of my apt taunting me. I never wanted the thing... but everyone insisted.... so I save it? Do I throw it out? Will I ever wear this thing again?!!? Should I throw some shalack (sp?) on it and preserve it?!?! What did you gals do w/ your bow hats?

You are supposed to use it as a bok for your rehearsal!

I just posted on BHB about how hideous mine is...Half the bows are brown because thats the standard gift wrap from Williams-Sonoma and Bloomingdales.

I'm seriously dumping it in the trash as soon as I exit the rehearsal....

i actually like mine

question though: what do you use to hold it as a bo-k. do u just hold the plate or attach something on the bottom of it?

I always thought you held it with the ribbons that were used to tie it on your head.

That's such a cute idea, I love it!!!!

I actually like mine too, my BM did such a great job making it!! It's so pretty with all the different purple bows!!!

My SIL is takin gthe bows off and making a bok with it 9she said she's using poster board

I never head of this but I'm doign something similar. One of my friends from college who's best friends with two of the girls in my bridal party took all the fake flowers on my gifts (for some reason that was a big thing w/ my gifts lol) and she arranged them into a small bouquet. She then took satin ribbon and tied the stem. She took the nicest ribbons and tied them around the base of the bouquet at the top of the stems and I have these flowing ribbons. It's soo beautiful and everyone said to use it for my toss bouquet so that's what I'm doing. It's my rehersal/toss bouquet.

I sort of wanted to keep it but I like the toss idea I guess.
