My BP just grew...

My BP just grew...

Thursday evening, FH's mom tells us one of FH's aunts said that her granddaughter (who is also FH's goddaughter) wants to be a flowergirl at our wedding. She lives in CA, and we don't see her very often, but because she is FH's goddaughter, we agreed to add another flowergirl to the Bridal Party (now we have 3 flowergirls and 1 ringbearer).

I don't know if we did the right thing, I don't mind having her as a flowergirl, I just don't like the way that it happened. FH's goddaughter should have picked up the phone (she's almost 9 years old)and asked to be our flowergirl rather than going through a word-of-mouth route.

Just venting, sorry.

Not odd, my 7 YO nephew asked us if he was our Pillow guy Im sure he mentioned it to his mom and she dialed the phone and told him to ask us but he did ask

Re: My BP just grew...

FH's goddaughter has been waiting for our wedding since we started dating because she REALLY wants a godmother...all of her friends have godmothers except for her, so when she foundout her godfather was dating someone (this is 3 years ago), she was really excited...I can understand why she wants to be part of the wedding somehow.

Plus, the other two flower girls (FH's nieces) will be almost 8 and almost 7 by the time of the wedding, so the 9 year old will fit in ok.
