My BP managed to surprise me with my SHOWER!!! (PICS inside)

HATS OFF to my BP for pulling one over on me. I thought for sure that my shower was going to be next weekend because there was to be a bridesmaid luncheon at my place this weekend and they had to 'switch' it due to 'scheduling conflicts'. It was all too easy that 5 people miraculously had that date open but anyway....

My MOH's decided to go out shopping with me anyway and we ended up at the Minado Japanese Seafood Buffet Restaurant as we had been there before and loved it. Well they sat us down and I went to the bathroom, when I came back, my nieces and my SIL popped up from behind my chair and I knew. They walked me to a back room where the shower was and everyone yelled 'SURPRISE!' Well I was like a deer in headlights as I am not one who handles that type of attention well.

There were about 40 something people there -all family and friends and some came from far away. It was a great day and a lot of work went into it!

They decided to keep an Asian theme and the favors were clear Chinese food boxes with fortune cookie soaps in them. The fortunes said 'Leslie's Bridal Shower'. I thought it was a great theme and so creative!

Throughout the day, my BP had all the guests write down a memory of me on these adorable 'sushi memo pads' and put them in a larger container for me to read out loud and identify everyone as nobody signed them! I loved this:

They got me a very pretty cake with pinks and purples as many of my flowers will be those colors on my wedding day:

Awww...awesome! See, it all worked out. We were right - they were trying to suprise you, and it worked. So glad you got the shower you were hoping for...cheese and all!

Awwww Leslie! Congrats!!! I'm so happy you were surprised by everything. I absolutely LOVE the cheese-bra! Very creative! Sounds like you had a great time. Much deserved happiness to you!!

Leslie,

Looks like you had an awesome time. I love Minado! They are the best there. And the Cheesey Bridal veil and bra, awesome. Looks like your girls put a lot of thought into it.
