which is easily rectifyable because they'll order it if we give them measurements...but it ***** that i can't go there to have them try it on and see what it looks like in person.

why dont you go elsewhere for BM dresses...I am not getting it as same place i bought my dress and you'll see many girls on here are doing the same. OR at least go to another store for them to try it on and if you really want then order it at your bridal shop

i'm trying to do that now...but so far i'm on call number 3...only 1 place has it so far and they have it in champ. i feel like to see it in champagne won't give me an accurate idea of what it really will look like. i know what the euro cinnamon in satin looks like but this one has ruched bobinnette OVER the european satin.

Mine didnt either. I knew what dress I wanted so they said they would order the sample. They did and the girls went and got measured. Cant they do that?

no they ordered the sample in the color that its advertised. I picked the color from the swatch Actually I never even asked if they could order it in the color I wanted, didnt think of it.

thats the thing...most of the shops have it in the standard champagne color...and they have the fabric swatch of the euro cinnamon satin...but not with the ruched bobbinette. i hate to choose something without seeing it because i don't want any surprises when it comes in.
BUT Lynbrook bridal center told me they will order the swatch for that dress in the euro cinn for me.

lol i had just gotten off the phone with RK and they only have the champagne too. I hate to be so picky about this...but Euro cinnamon esp with that fabric over it is just one of those colors that could look great on paper or the comp and then u get it and be like UGH THIS LOOKS LIKE SHIIIIIIAT! I deff don't want that experience.

isn't it pretty much standard that they all carry the same dress in the sample color, whatever color it's shown on the website? I went to a variety of places with my girls to try on the Bill Levkoff dresses and they all had the samples in the same colors...

that is very true
at rk bridal if you go there they have books for every designer. In there they have all the designers color including a swatch

yeah but the main pic on bl site is champagne with i think a brown sash so thats what they are all carrying...this is just the color change when u click the sidebar of colors...which also makes me wonder how accurate. I think I may just go with it because it was between that dress and this one
but my gut is leaning towards the one in the original post.
i thought i had nailed it down to just 2 choices but now i just saw these...but aren't jim hjelm more expensive than bill levkoff ? and don't less bridal shops carry jh because of the price range? I think i remember that being the reason i nixxed the jh dresses i liked in the beginning

I wouldnt change dresses. I love the one you picked and honestly, i think you will be fine. Have the girls try it on in champagne so you can see how they look in the style. I think the color is gorgeous and will come in beautifully too. Perfect color for that time of year.
