My Bridal Shower ( kinda long)

Well, Saturday I finally had my bridal shower, it was a suprise.. My cousin (BM) called me to go clothes shopping with her. So we left around 11:30. My shower starts at 1:00 p.m. I arrived at 2:00 p.m. .. the hall was decorated beautiful, the centerpieces were gorgeous.

I do my rounds of saying hi to everyone and i noticed that my MIL, SIL and 2 of his cousins are missing. I now become furious and asked the only 2 people that had arrived where they and no one knew nothing. I take a deep breath and walk away. we all start serving ourselves to eat. and as Im eating, guess who decideds to arrive 1 hr and 1/2 late. my wonderful MIL and SIL . Remind you all that all my friends and family were asking me where they were.

MIL comes up and says hi and says I've arrived and I gave her a look and said 'yeah late'

I open my gifts my MOH decides to wrap me like a mummy. LOL its now like 3 and we only had the hall until 4 so I was rushing and rushin to get everything done. 1/2 before its time to leave we all start cleaning up. guess who doesnt help?
His whole family is standing just looking at us. .

I go home and tell my FH what had happened and cry like crazy He calls his mom and tells her what she did was unexceptable, that she should of been there on time, it was mine day and it should of gone alot smoother that than.

She invites us over to eat on Sunday. I was so angry I didnt want to go. but of course I did. I walk in and she gives me a hug and tells me she is so sorry, that she didnt mean to etcc... I told her I didnt care and I didnt find it funny, at this point Im crying, I also told her it better be the last time she does that to me, I looked like a fool.

But other than his family screwing everything up the day went great and the people that did arrive on time and were there are the ones that care about me and made it a priority.

Despite your FMIL's rude and unacceptable behavior, it sounds like you still had a good time.

I have the best friends and the best family so I had to make the best of the day, because the ones that were there on time are the ones that really care and love me.
