My Bridesmaids Dresses (medieval wedding) -PIC

Hi girls,

Thought I'd start posting some of the things we have for our wedding, which is in two and a half months!! Yeeks!!

We're having a medieval theme, so everything will be quite different. Here's a picture of the bridemaids dresses. Best thing about them...NO fittings!!! Yay!

The bridesmaid's BoK's.... The greens in this BoK will be green hydrangeas. She's also going to add a touch of ivy and some white sweetpeas!

Thanks! The bridesmaids will also have a delicate wreath of flowers on their heads, the same colors as the Bo-K.

My dress is a 'traditional' wedding gown, but it is a simple A-line and they are going to add chiffon bell sleeves to it, so it will make it look more Medieval... No gloves!!! It's from Mary's Bridal. I got it at Paradise Bridal in Patchogue.

I don't think so, because their dresses, while they look heavy, are really very light. They are a stretch panne velvet. My dress is also light, and I'm not going to be wearing a huge slip or anything. I don't think the chiffon sleeves will make much of a difference... hopefully!!

Also, it's an evening wedding. The sun will be setting during the ceremony, and down by the time we're dancing!

My flowergirls crown. She's actually going to be a Flower Fairy. The crown is on a headband, so it will be easy for her to wear it.

Fi gets this midevil catalog sent to him all the time. it has dresses, slippers, goblets, etc...

i usually read it then wind up throwing it out.

i love all that stuff
