My brother-in-law to be - deceased

Hi girls and guys: we lost my brother-in-law to be last year in an accident. It was my fiance's only brother (has 5 sisters). I met him several times and he was a wonderful person. I am honoring him by placing the flowers on the altar in memory of him. In my ceremony programs under "OUR CEREMONY" the next lines read "The flowers on the altar are dedicated in memory of so and so; he is in our thoughts on this special day". For those of you who want to keep it special but low key, most think it's a beautiful way to honor a deceased loved one. My uncle (my priest) is also mentioning him during the ceremony during the Prayer for the Faithful. You may want to consider this option. It's a little booklet all will keep and remember your loved one as well. Good Luck

My co-worker's daughter bought her dress through them, rented the tuxedos and got a photographer referral. She has nothing but great things to say about them.

Who did you use for your photographer, florist, dj,video, etc. If you care to recommend anyone, I'd appreciate it!

Honoring a Loved One

My father died when I was 14 and have been racking my brain trying to figure out a way to honor him Someone posted this poem a few months back and thought it was perfect for our candle lighting ceremony- we are going to ask someone to read it while my father and Jeremy's parents light the candles "Although death has separated us physically, faith and love have bound us eternally. Though we cannot see you, we know you are here. Though we cannot touch you, we feel the warmth of your smile, as we begin a new chapter in our lives. Today we pause to reflect upon those who have shaped our character, molded our spirits and touched our hearts. May the lighting of this candle be a reminder of the memories we have shared, a representation of the everlasting impact you have made upon our lives. "

Hope this helps, and good luck with whatever you decide.
