My car died last week. I was upset until I saw the gas prices. I was already costing me $40 bucks to fill up my tank.
It could be your alternator, that's not to bad to fix....
Is there a station that deals with AAA near your job maybe have them tow the car there and see if they can fix it. It might be the altanator (sp?) I have had that problem before and thats hwat I needed fixed. THen the question is how do you get home

Forget the car. Is there a train station by you? You can always bring them back to the car to see if they can start it.
It could be your starter or your altinator. I had the same problem last week. It was my altinator, in which drained my battery. Ugh. I feel your pain. May-be someone from AAA can help you figure out the problem or have it towed to a mechanical shop closer to your job.

I'm in Hauppauge and I live in Merrick.
What is up with the cars lately? Mine on saturday at cosco would not start it was funny though I stoled out at my moms then started again and I said to my sis it would be funny if the car after we get out from here would not start sure enough would not start. Dad came to dump me and got a new battery now Im fine. It may as well be the alternator does it turn over at all?
