DH tried jumping it and it still won't start. I hope it's just too cold out and nothings wrong w/ it. He is driving me to work in a little bit. I'll try to start it again later. Anyone else have this happen?

not really! if you haven't used your car in a while maybe that can cause it or did you leave your lights on last night in your car but dont remember shutting them off that can do to it too. I hope you get it started. or maybe the battery just went dead in worse scenario. Im sorry that happened to you. good luck getting it started later.

If the battery is old, it won't start in weather like this. They die really quickly in the cold- you probably need a new one.

Yup. I moved it last night to a different spot and it started fine. I didn't leave any lights on though. Someone said I might need a new battery.

I know this might sounds stupid, but did you have over a 1/2 of tank of gas in the car?? My dad had his gas line freeze on the car in past winters...

the same thing happened to my mom the other day the car was just cold and the battery had frost on it. after a little while it turned over. i hope its the same thing for you!!!

I had the same thing happen to me this morning. It didn't sound like the battery was dead, it sounded like it wanted to start but was just having trouble. I stopped trying for a little while and then tried again and it finally started. I noticed I was pretty low on gas so I got some on my way to work just in case - I guess that could have been my problem. I hope you're able to get yours started later.

this happened to me last week. My mechanic told me to step on the gas all the way and then turn the key. Keep turning it for a few seconds. Keep trying. On the second try mine started. It had something to do with the gas lines. Hope that works for you.

Not alone, My car wouldnt start this AM and I had used it yesterday. I went to use our spare ghetto vehicle which wouldnt start either. I finally got into FH truck who luckily is off today.
So, two cars wouldnt start for me. Its the cold,...I hope.

I do this only as a last resort. You ccould flood your engine with gasoline and then have even more issues with it not starting.
Try it again when you get home, you can either swap out your battery or buy one of those chargers and see if that will get it to turn over.
