oh no! But, I am sure that you and your family gave her a loving home and a wonderful life!

I'm SO sorry to hear this. I went through the same thing in April with my family cat who was almost 17. It is hard anytime, but especially when it is your childhood pet and you are getting married or have gotten married. It feels weird, like your life has changed so drastically that even your childhood pet can't comfort you.

Many hugs to you. I hope your kitty will meet up with my old guy and maybe they can have some fun up there.

My cat had kidney or bladder problems too....I feel for you but your kitty is not in pain anymore....my poor kitty used to 'scream' when she tried to pee

Had to be put to sleep. She was old like 14 or 15 Her Kidneys failed her which is common in older cats. Im devestated. I posted on the pet board last night that we took her to the vet this morning they called and said theres nothing that can be done for her. So she had to be put down. Im devestated. She was my Childhood pet. Thanks for listening.

So sorry... my cat was put down this past summer... so very sad. One of the hardest decisions ever.

I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. I had to put my cat to sleep last year. He was 13. My thougths are with you.

I am sorry. I understand how you feel. We found out our cat Candy was not going to make through the week on our first Valentine's married. DH had dinner reservations and instead when we should have been at dinner, we were saying goodbye to candy. I was with her when they put her to sleep. That was the worst ever.
