I didnt realize TJ (cat) was under my bed and Casey went under there to play I guess....well, TJ got her in the eye and scratched her eye ball....plus she was bleeding in the corner of her eye...my DH is taking her to the vet this morning. Please pray that her eye will be ok

Awwwwwwwwww, and people are worried about the cats! Casey will be ok and they will have a love/hate relationship one day!

Oh poor Casey.
My Pug had a scratch on his eye not too long ago....the vet gave him an antibiotic & this eye cream (which he still runs away if he sees a tube of anything) but it worked..he was back to new in no time!
I hope Casey feels better soon

My DH just called. The vet said the cat must have scratched her '3rd eyelid' because he couldn't see a scratch anymore - it healed already. I am glad to hear she is ok but I am nervous now about the cats.....I really have to watch where she goes from now on when she is loose and they are around...I am thinking of having them declawed, they are indoor cats anyway. I know it is not considered humane but I dont know how else this will work....

good. the same thing happened to Lukin. Now im forgetting what they called it, but we had to put all this stuff in his eye or he wouldnve gone blind. but hes fine now

your cat scratched your dog's 3rd eyelid? My vet didnt give Casey any medicine

no, it was his actual eyeball. i dont think it was the cat though, i think it was Tink (she was a puppy then with those sharp claws)
