Very Very Nice.....I don't know if it matters to you or not....When the candles get lit....did you get dripless candles? I am doing a hurricaine with sand, shells, and a candle. It may not matter....but I found out totally by accident that I did get the dripless candles.

The candle in the pic is a partylite candle I had laying around (I used to sell it). Most of their pillars burn really well so I think I am going to use them. I have some friends who still sell it, so hopefully I can get their discount. Thanks for the thought!

Thanks everyone! I think I am going to go with just leaves, no garland. It's a lot cheaper, and I kinda think it looks a little cluttered with the garland.

Yes - I got the idea from an 07 bride on here! I like it so much better than marbles, it's neater looking than sand, and much, much cheaper than those rocks you can buy at Michaels, etc.

I actually took another photo today of a new version ... don't have the photo with me, but it;s basically the candle, vase and garland in the center and then small little piles of fake leaves around the centerpiece (sort of in a north-south-east-west pattern, if that makes sense?). It looks less cluttered to me than having the leaves right at the base and is simple and pretty. I'll try to remember to post the photo tonight.
