My centerpieces

My centerpieces

ok so these are a possibility. I know I posted about them awhile ago but I put them in my album. So what do you think? There isn't enough cranberries in the bowl which i knew but imagine it completely covered with them. I took another pic with the candles lit but my camera's battery went dead.
so whatch'a think?

I love the idea, but just thinking instead of cranberries which is a fall / winter theme to me, how about you try sea glass on the bottom of the bowls and have the candles floating on top?
I think it will look great either way, but thinking if the bowl was completely filled with cranberries, it might take away from the actual candle.

Just my opinion.

Well - I'm getting married the first week of Feb and the colors/theme is Valentines day colors red and white. So sea glass is out. I did do another one at a friends house with all the cranberries and the contrast in color was great, but we used the wrong bowl.

Oh yeah, DRRRR forgot to look at the date you were getting married.

The sea glass you can get in red & white also, just for color.

I think it will look great either way

Re: My centerpieces

I think it would look nicer in a smaller bowl-maybe those narrower, slightly higher ones. then filled with cranberries and a lit candle it would look nice-very winter

I have to agree with Cee. Although it looks cost effective, it just doesn't do anything for me.There needs to be more,.....how should I say Pop to it.

I do like the idea, but maybe if you get some glass pebbles in the burgany to line the bottom of the bowl would make it 'pop' a little more.

I love the idea. Just double check how long the candels will last.

I have to disagree with some of the above, I think it's beautiful! It's very different and unique, I like the idea of using berries instead of flowers, and I think the white candles will look great in all that red.

Sometimes it's nice to see something simple and sleek instead of a huge flower arrangement.

I like your concept. But I'm not sure if it will stand out enough on a big table.

Staying w/ your concept, how about a big hurricane vase filled w/ cranberries and then a large pillar candle inside. Then you could put small votives around it also. Just a thought.

Nope, but what I am going to do when I see a florist is explain that I want the red sea glass and red votive candles around the bottom of the centerpieces. I think the red glass, against the candlelight will look awesome.

I love them, maybe through a few more cranberries in and maybe cherries or blackberries for contrast. I love that they are low (personally I don't like tall centerpieces. They always look gorgeous but guests have such a hard time talking to the people across the tables,ya know. I just love your pieces, very warm and romantic!!!
