Hey girls, So my florist has done several sample CPs for me and here is the latest. My question is what do you think of the flowers at the base? Are they too loud in color since the rest of the piece is fairly quiet in color or is it a good contrast?
All honest opinions are greatly appreciated and welcome as we are going back in a week to see another one...
i love the branches, but i don't think the bottom blends well. maybe it's just too much green?

I agree, I love the idea of the centerpiece but I think the bottom has too much green. I would either add more color into the top or less color in the bottom so it blends better.

For Carltun on the Park - I would do softer colors on the bottom. But if you leave it as is - it's still beautiful!!

I agree with you girls that the bottom just looks too off from the top of it. I love the CP and think softer hues would blend better...
What colors? More like yellows and whites right?
My girls are wearing espresso colored dresses and the guys have black tuxes with champagne colored vests/ties just to give you an idea of my colors...

Yellow and white are exactly the colors I was thinking (FH and I went to look at the Carltun when we were RH shopping) - I think the yellow and white would look beautiful!

I agree since the room is those exact colors. I'll have to talk to my florist and see what he comes up with...When he does the new one in a week or so I'll post new pics.

The bottom needs to blend more with the top. It looks like there are two seperate centerpieces all put together. Beautiful arrangment though and will definately be even more beautiful with a less loud bottom arrangement.

Is orange your color? It gives it a but of a fall feel but that is JMO. But only because I just saw these colors at a wedding in Nov.
I usually dont think you have to do summer colors in the summer, fall colors in the fall....etc...but just curious if this is your color scheme? I am assuming yes???

they should be white or something less contrasty. It really takes away from the branches.

i agree. It is pretty- but the flowers on the branches are so light and delicate, and I feel like the bold colors from the base take away from it.

Honestly - i like the bottom , with the exception of the BRIGHT oranga flower. If thats replaced i think the softer feel will be accomplished!

I do think the base would go better if the lillies were white and the roses a blush or white as well. It is a gorgeous CP

I agree with the all white... I think it would be gorgeous.. Still modern because of the top half, but it would have more of a flowing feel. The colors shown now are just a bit much..
I think you're headed in the right direction though!

i am not sure if i like the flowers on the bottom but maybe if u do different colors.....i think those are more fall colors then june ya no?? like maybe brighter???
