My Checklist just got 3 things crossed off it!
This weekend was extremely productive wedding wise! We hit a huge stumbling block recently as far as crossing things off the list (mostly due to hotels and their stupid 'rules') but I am so happy that we completed these things.
1st)Officiant-Judge Louis Ohlig (thanks to a bunch of girls recommendations on here). My FI was obstinate about having either a Judge or Justice since we are both non-religious and most interfaith officiants are either rabbis, priests, fathers, etc
2)Finished printing my save the dates (Still had to do the note cards). They should be in the mail by Wed.
3) Blocked the Marriott Courtyard-This was the hardest, most grueling part thus far wedding wise....We want to have an after party for our guests that are staying overnight and everyone was insane about this. The back and forth was nuts...haggling per person vs per pitcher/caraffe, only allowed fancy food (we felt after all the great food from the reception noone would want a huge dinner), etc. AH! Torture....but It's finely done!![]()
We did back and forth with over 7 hotels!
Now onto the rest. My wish list pre 2005 is plan and book the honeymoon, book a bus/shuttle to and back from the reception site, bridesmaid dresses (having a bit of trouble with this one), and invites.![]()
