I registered for Lenox Provencal Sky for my casual China (introduced in 2003) and I have been informed its already discontinued!!! Most of what I registered for has already been purchased. Should I purchase the rest??? What if I break a plate!! Ahhhhhh!

i would go for it- and see if you can get a discount. maybe get a couple of extra place settings in case you break something.
also there is a website where they match up discontinued patterns if you break a piece.

I agree. Go for it. There are places to help you find pieces after something has been discontinued. I think one of them is called Replacements.com
Remember, also, that even though it will be discontinued, they still have to sell all of the remaining stock. I have heard it takes a year or more before all of the stock is gone from stores.

Yeah, you can still get pieces from Replacements.com if you break something, but I would try to complete your set soon while the new stock is still there.

There's always the internet to buy discontinued items. Try some of those websites or just find something in a solid color that matches with the rest of the set.

I've heard that you can always get a replacement from lenox after they discontinue a pattern. I didn't see anything on the website stating that policy, but I did find this:
