OMG...My co-worker and I were talking about showers and his wife happens to be invited to mine b/c we are friends and he said that she wasn't going to be able to attend mine b/c it is the weekend of her birthday!!
Ummmm, hello, knock, knock anybody there?? I KNOW HER B-DAY is 7/20!!
That means that my surprise shower is either 7/21 or 7/22!
I didn't say anything b/c you can tell by the way he reacted that he knew he messed up!!
I was in such shock that when I 1st posted I mis-spelled EVERYTHING! LOL

The only good thing is that you'll be prepared and looking your best both days so whenever your shower is, you'll be pretty!

If he's right, then at least you'll be prepared and can take the time to get ready!
I loved knowing about my shower (it was never supposed to be a surprise) because I was able to get my hair and makeup done and be relaxed about it.

Oh thats so horrible!!! No matter how much people want showers to be a surprise...SOMONE always blows it. My FSIL did almost the same thing the other night...I think when she realized she used the work 'shower' she tried to chane the subject so I just pretended like I didnt hear what she said! Can you at least PRETEND to be surprised? I would try to keep it to yourself so the people that worked so hard to plan it think they pulled it off!

I think he realized after he said it, but he didn't say anything b/c I don't think he wanted to bring it to my attention, just in case I didn't p/u on what he said.
