Hello everyone. I haven't even had a chance to post, as I was getting used to my first week as a full-time worker/part-time grad student. Oh, the insanity. Anyway... I having been thinking of an ivory dress for myself with some gold embrodery... And then have the BM's wear gold. However, this does not help me with tuxes, as I think gold vests and ties look cheesy. SO.... I'm also thinking of burgundy/wine colored dresses for the BM's. That way, my FH can wear a gray vest and tie and the rest of the men in the bridal party can wear vests and ties in burgundy to match the girls. Which idea do you guys like better? What color schemes are you using/thinking of using?

a friend of mine is having silver and gold as her colors, and I think she is using grey vests.

How about if you have the guys wear a black tux with black vest and gold tie? That would look really nice and won't have a lot of gold. Gold gresses are really pretty

I am also using burgandy/ wine BM dresses. This is a pic of the one I am using. Its by Dessy/ After Six
my dress is ivory with bronze, and gold embroidery and crystals.....my moh is wearing mocha as well as my jr bridesmaids, and my bridesmaids are wearing taupe. the colors offset the color in my dress soooo nicely! my fiance is wearing an ivory shirt, tie and vest and the groomsman are wearing an ivory shirt, and black vest and tie. everything looks sooo nice together!

i would have my bm in gold and the guys vests in either black or ivory there is no reason for you to do a color. it is not necessary. because then you have to think about your flowers and stuff. with this combination of ivory and gold you can do whatever color flowers you want.

i say go with the gold dresses and have the Groomsmen wear cream or black. I don't really like when everything is too 'matchy matchy' as i call it. I think Gold dresses would be stunning!

That's so weird, I just put that dress in my 'favorites' the other day. I love that one, good choice. I am also thinking of going with the shorter dresses, they are so cute, very 1950s.
