My Coupon Buddies...

I just called Newsday to ask a question about my billing, and found out that they are still running a promo.

ALMOST all of Long Island (they will tell you if you qualify or not after you give them your address. Im not sure what it goes by)..

Well the price of the promo, for HOME DELIVERY is $1.25 per week ! YES PER WEEK. SEVEN DAYS !
And the catch is that they bill your credit card one lump sum of $65. (at the end of the year you have to cancel or they will bill you at the reg price, so keep that in mind).

With what we save in coupons, this deal is too good to be true.

Call Newsday's offices. I found their # on yahoo yellow pages.
Edited to add the # 631-843-2000.

Re: My Coupon Buddies...

I went to Walbaums yesterday and saved $70 with the triple coupons. My hubby couldn't believe it and he was more exciting about how much we saved than I was.

Anna - I can't thank you enough! We have been paying $5 a week - you just saved us great money - like $18 a month! Thank you so much - I never would have heard about this if not for you! Just FYI, remember to call next year, or they will bill you for a whole year at full price - we have to call next year and ask what promotions they have, b/c we will not be able to get the same deal next year, but I will never pay full price again! Thanks again!

Re: My Coupon Buddies...

Thanks Anna! I'm going to have to call Newsday - I'm still shocked that it's a 7 day delivery price!!! Wow!

Yesterday, I was cutting coupons and thinking of you ladies! I need to really get myself on this 'bargain bandwagon'!!!

Suzanne ... I think Stop & Shop has double coupons. Not sure though!

Re: My Coupon Buddies...

We were thinking of just subscribing to the Sunday edition once we get settled in the new house. At the promo rate, it's almost not worth it to just order Sundays. But, truthfully, I'd rather have less to recycle every week and still get the benefit of the coupons!!
