My coworker was reading my e-mails (long)

Can you believe that? She worte me a nasty e-mail last week about some things that were bothering her, but since I was just doing my job not bothering her, I forward the e-mail to my boss so he could handle it. So of course she was not speaking to me since then. After my boss talked to her and me separately, he wanted to talk to us together. So, on tuesday, her, my boss, the HR manager and me got to talk to see if she had aproblem, she was not making sense, she was making personal comments but nothing work related. Well, then they got to talk to just me and mention something about too many e-mails from my work e-mail address, so i said I will stop, and then just please try to get along and all that BS. Then she comes to me to see if we could talk, and I'm talking only about what she wrote to me in the e-mail, and she proceeds to ask me if my boss and hr had mentioned the e-mails, I said yes and nothing else, so she says to me, I don't know if you know but I can read your e-mails and I've been doing it since August, the nerve!!!!!!! Of course I felt like crap b/c my chain e-mails were everyday with my bf in NY and of course, since I don't like her, I wrote about her from time to time. So, she was reading EVERYTHING i was sying about her, on top pf reading my personal things and my friends'. How horrible is that? My boss and hr didn't know and she thought she was going to harm me, but she harmed herself b/c she was not supposed to do that! They are transferring her ASAP

She TOLD ME how, and said i thought you knew, she was SO fraking smart, the systems dept don't know how she did it!

What an invasion of privacy ! And furthermore what an idiot she is...if you knew you obviously wouldn't be writing personal email for her to see.

I can't get over the nerve of some of these people.

Is there a password you can change/apply to your email so she can't keep doing this from her new position???

that is sooo wrong. and i din't think transferring her is the answer. i mean, does she know what she is doing is wrong? and yet, she seems so proud of herself...some people...

That takes a lot of nerve! She invaded your privacy and she needs more than just to be transferred. Uuuugh..People can be so mean!

She tried to use this against me, VERY stupid of her right? Nobody understand how she did it, and why she didn't she say anything. I guess she knows now she is in a hole, I wonder if she knows about the transfer!

Oh my gosh! That is nuts! If she is able to read your emails through her computer, she might be able to do it from another one. Can you change your password?

It was my work e-mail she was reading, I was stupid and using it for personal e-mails with a friend. I think the systems dept already fix the problem, but still, the harm is done

OMG!!!! i would be FUMING. the NERVE of that B I T C H. if i was her boss i would seriously question her loyalty and professionalism. she should be FIRED. if she is reading your emails, what is stopping her from reading others?

I know, I thought she was going to get fired too, she deserve it, but the tranfer is a punishment too, less hours for her and more work definetly! and I'm just glad I don't have to work with her anymore!!!
