My CPs with pics! Need advice!

So we’re going to the florist today to see our sample CPs… some of you might remember that I posted about a month ago that I had called our florist to change our colors (since we haven’t met with our florist in a year) and they told us you can’t meet just to discuss colors, they make the sample for you and then you have to make changes. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, and I’ve left messages with both the receptionist and on our specific florist’s v-mail saying our colors are navy and fuchsia now instead of blue and yellow.

SO – I will either be a later with pics of a fuchsia and white CP, or if I have pics of a blue and yellow one.

Update: So we went there today. And walked in to see this:

I knew that was going to happen.

They were very apologetic though and fixed it right away, so now the colors are right.

I just... I dunno. I like it, but I'm not sure if I LOVE it. But I don't really know what, if anything, I would do to change it. Get rid of the green hydrangea maybe and make it all white?

Any suggestions?

What they did for me was change the colors on the spot. If it's not what you want, you can ask them to make changes, and 9 times out of 10, they have exactly what you're looking for in the back of the florist. I had to change some of the roses in mine (from all pink to half pink half cream), and they did it in 5 minutes.

Don't stop asking for changes until you're happy with it!!!!

I like how it looks but i would change the green hydrangeas to white so the pink and blue flowers can pop even more.

I would change the hydrangeas to all white and see if they had a rose that looks more pink...unless the color is more pink in person b/c in the pictures it looks coral.

Can you add white hydrangas instead of the green ones? I love the bright colors.......sooo pretty

I agree.... its pretty but I dont love it yet... maybe take out the pink roses and have them add hot pink peonies

i would take out the pink, i think it's too striking. are you going for a more vintage feel?

i think its the pink..i think u either need to add more or take it all out....i like the pink so i would swap something else and add a bit more pink

Thanks girls.

Yeah, I think that part of the problem was that the CP was originally made to go with yellow… so since they didn’t listen to me, when I got there they just switched out the yellow roses for pink. I’m def going to get rid of the green hydrangea and add more pink to it.

I guess I’m just disappointed – this is a very popular florist and I guess I was just expecting to be wowed like I was by some of your beautiful CPs.

Its pretty, but I think there are too many colors going on ... maybe you can get rid of the blue hydrangeas and make them those white/pinks ones instead so there is something else in pink besides the roses... or what you can do it get rid of the blue flowers (are they lilies? - not sure) and swap them with the white cymbidiam orchids that have a pinkish center and then keep the blue hydrangeas

I agree, I would switch out the green hydrangeas to either blue or white. Maybe blue over white though, for me personally I don't really like white flowers.

I love the new colors. I would switch out the green hydrangeas with maybe some of the reddish ones (if they have) or white or blue to tie in better with your theme.

It does seem like they did not change the centerpiece that much just replace a few flowers. If you are not happy I would ask them to redo it. I am not a big fan of hydranias (not sure if I spelled that right) but many people are, but I would take the green ones out. If your colors are blue and hot pink then i would put more of those colors in the centerpiece there is a lot of white flowers in it. Maybe hot pink roses as other people suggested? Also I know gerbers come in a hot pink/fusha color that is pretty. Also, they have white roses that have hot pink at the top.
