My dad and tips

OK, so my wedding is tomorrow and my dad feels that we should not tip ANYBODY. We are paying them, so why should we be tipping them? If they wanted more, they should pay a higher price. He's going on and on about it and making me nuts. Today is not the day to be cheap! Who do we HAVE to tip??

Who else? We don't have a car or anything. How can I justify this practice to my dad???

I'm sorry...that's a tough one. I don't know how you can convince your dad, but you also need to add the bridal attendant if there is one.

yes to tipping

band- unless it is inclued in the contract and i would still give them a little

maitre d- our is inclued in the contract but more than likely we will give a little more to him too

photographer- if not the owner yes at least 50 to 100

hair and make up yes to them too 10 to 15 % of total-

but we are heavy tippers- just us it is total up to you and how you feel your service was for the day keep that in mind-

also if there is parking attendents,flowers delivery guy, anyone at the hall (waitstaff that stands out)

there can be so many- we are keeping any extra 1000 a side just for tipping and what ever else come up on our wedding day.
