My Dad didn't get my mother ANYTHING UPDATE BOTTOM

and I'm PISSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every year he puts no thought/effort in. This year NOTHING. What a jerk !
I'm so mad! I actually said 'Mom has nothing to open...guess you're getting a nice check coming to you'

I'm just going to get through the day and not say a thing but boy is my blood pressure boiling !!!!

i know how you are feeling. this was the story of my christmases growing up, i had a very thoughtless father as well. to you and your mom

that is so cold! if I was your mom I wouldn't buy him any gifts for christmas anymore till he can buy her something. Im sorry i dont mean to sound mean but thats how I would feel.

My father is very bad when it comes to christmas. He buys my mom gifts, but usually not good ones ( toaster,blender). So to make up for it I stuff my moms stocking and make sure she gets nice gifts.

Thanks All ! He did redeem himself - about two hours later right before we were leaving to visit family he called us all down so Mom could open her presents. So he did get her something. But I'll tell youy, it was so awkward when we were all opening presents and she had NOTHING. He should have wrapped the stuff yesterday. Anyway I was relieved that he got her something. PHEW ! Next year I'll be on him about getting stuff wrapped and under the tree so we call all enjoy the time together instead of rushing out the door last minue and trying to admire the presents as well.

Awww..glad he got her something. You are so right though. Definitley talk to him about being 'on time' next year so you can all open together and no one will feel awkward.

I am so glad that he got her something! I agree with lvdolphins get on him next year about wrapping the gifts a week before christmas or two days before christmas. thats what i do.
