My Dad Picked a song and I keep crying everytime I listen to it!
I did a bunch of research and sent him samples of around 15-20 songs. He found a different song from one of the sites I sent him (I forgot to send this one as an option, but I've heard it and liked it).
When he sent this one to me and I played it, I couldn't stop crying. So I called him and told him I really like it, but I warned him that I won't make it through the song w/out crying. He said, 'You think I will??' Then I cried again! I'm such a sap!

Awwww!!! Now you've got me all teary eyed!!! Im so emotional with my dad, that I really dont want to dance to a sentimental song. I all ready know Im going to cry on our way to the church! Seeing your post reminded me, is Monday night ok? sorry to sabatoge your post

I saw my dad tonight and I think we're definitely doing this one even though it makes us both cry. FH said to play it everyday so I won't cry at the wedding. We'll see if it works.

It is so nice to read about girls who have a good relationship with their dad. I agree with your FH. I would listen over and over again to try to desensitize myself. I am planning on doing this with our first dance song. But ultimately, I'll probably cry.

My best friend got married and danced with her dad to that song. It was VERY emotional! It's the perfect Father/Daughter song...I am thinking of dancing to that with my dad and surprise him. It's definitely a tear jerker!

OH my i just listened to a sample of it on itunes and i had my mother and myself crying i love it but it says.... as i dance the last dance with my little girl and she found her place in this world
i didnt listen to the whole thing yet because it was a sample but is it about a girl growing up????sorry i am going to dowload the whole song just wanted to know the lyrics

I am dancing to that song with my dad too. I cried the first time I heard it so I knew it was perfect.
