Fh and I came up to my Dad's house in PA to celebrate Christmas since we didn't get to see him over my break, his house is about 4 hours away.
Last night we were sitting around talking and my dad was telling us how much he loved old 40's music and he's gotten back into listening to it. I grew up with 50's and 60's music from him, but now he's into listening to what his parents used to play.
He asked me, are you having a dj or a band ? I said probably a DJ bc of finances and he said good because I chose the song we're going to dance to and it needs to be THIS version. I said, for who? You and me? At my wedding? He said yes
So he played the cd and Daddy's Little Girl by the Mills brothers started to play and he cried!!! I really wanted something less traditional but how can I tell him no now?!? lol, awww. Neither of us is going to make it through that dance.
