My day is not off to a good start

After being up most of the night last night with this annoying itchy skin thing that I have going on, I go to drop my son off at camp and he blows a FIT...screaming and crying that he doesn't want to go (he NEVER does this). So after 1/2 hour of trying to reason with him, I take him home with me.
On the way home, I had to stop at my Primary Care Dr to see if there's ANYTHING they could do about my skin problem...and his office is closed until next Monday.
Now I'm home wiht a kid who's punished all day and skin that I just want to tear off

Sorry, just had to vent

I hope your day gets better. Have you tried Aveeno oatmeal bath?

Get some cortisone cream for the itching. Have you tried talking calmly with your son? I know its hard sometimes and you rather pull your hair out or tell him I'll wait till your done screaming to talk to you. then just ask him when he is done did he have abad dream or is something just bothering him or someone. Dont know if that will help, but it works for me.

Try to smile. your day will get better. When I was pregnant I remember my belly was sooo itchy. It was so annoying and nobody believed me. Any fabric that touched it just annoyed me. Aveeno may help.....

Oh Stacy! I'm sorry to hear that! That's so unlike Scotty to do! Maybe he's just overtired from his weekend? If there's anything I can do!
