Hi Ladies. I am originally from Long Island and I moved to the Hoboken area of New Jersey this past summer about a month after I got engaged. We are having our wedding on Long Island and while it isn't exactly the Bahamas or very far away but it is a pain in the butt to plan. I have a long time, the wedding date is September 21, 2008, but we are both graduate students so during the semester we don't really have time to plan. I wanted to create a new topic thread to vent a little bit once in awhile about my destination LI wedding!

Welcome! Vent away I know it's probably really stressful to plan a wedding at a distance, it makes everything such a hassle. It will be worth it though when all your hard work pays off!

We went to Majestic GArdens LAst Night for an expo and ugghh with the traveling! we left at 9:30 the next train was not until 10:28 then we took the train to Penn from Penn we had to catch the PATH train, which didn't come for atleast 20 minutes, then after we took the PATH we had to get our car from the parking garage and drive home which only took 5 minutes (the shortest part of the trip. And it cost so much money because we had to take a Peak train there and pay for parking in the garage!! DAMN DESTINATION Weddings!
