my DIY cardbox

ok, it's not completely done yet (still need to attach the boxes together and add trim around the spot to put the cards in and possibly a bow on top) but i still wanted to share with everyone. it's unique, and loud, and kinda retro, but it's very us and we love it. i made it out of old (free) cardboard boxes and some material and ribbon i bought and hot glued it all together. what do you think?

thanks! i'm trying to convince fh to let me leave him there. he doesn't sound too enthusiastic about it right now though... i may just do it anyways. =0)

heh, i showed him all the pro-kermit replies on here and he seems to be thinking about it now. it's weird cuz he's all for crazy touches like that everywhere else in the wedding. who knows when it comes to boys.

Wow I must be sleepy. When I saw your first pic I was thinking 'Is she crazy! It's not retro. They're just plain boxes! What is everyone going to say to her!' And then I scrolled down and realized that that was the pic of the boxes uncoverd. I am seriously losing it! Anyhow, very pretty!!!
