Work has been crazy busy and stressful, but nothing calms me more than getting something wedding-related accomplished.
I had been perplexed by my Centerpiece design for a while. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to come up with something I liked within my budget, but I was determined to figure it out.
I knew I wanted Curly Willow and something with nice height for the ballroom, but I'd never worked with Curly Willow before, so I was a little nervous.
Anyway, this is what I came up with:
1 Bunch of Curly Willow (About 5 branches): $15 Paper Flowers (15 pk): $4.99 White Ribbon (Michaels): $1.00 White plate as base: $1.00 (Dollar Store) Spanish Moss: $1.00 (Dollar Tree) Hot Glue Gun: $4.00
So, for a total of $27 per centerpiece, I got my tall, Curly Willow Centerpieces. I'm kind of proud of how they came out :).
I plan to decorate around the base with tea light candles and rose petals. I'm also considering hanging crystals, but I'll need to find a deal :).
What do you girls think?

Re: My DIY Curly Willow Centerpiece
I bought it from Save-on-crafts.com.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can make it better? I'm thinking of shortening the base by about 4 more inches, so it's a little bit fuller-looking and spray painting some branches silver and some white, but I'm not sure yet.
Our colors are dark green and white, so I'm trying to stick with that scheme.

It looks REALLY awesome! Tea lights will be perfect. I do think that the hanging crystals will go great too!
How many crystals do you think you would need per centerpiece?

Gosh, I have no idea. I'm debating doubling up the branches, so it'll look fuller, which means I might need like 8 strands of crystals per centerpiece? I'll have to try it out and let you know.
