My DIY Hair Jewelry

So i love the look of hair jewelry but it is pretty darn expensive!
So i came up with a solution...Macy's always has beautiful costume jewelry pins....throw it on a metal hair comb and you have hair jewelry! The pins cost me about $20 each...the metal hair clips were $1.25 in the city. I didn't even need to glue...the pins stay on the metal clips. Now i just need to decide which one I'll wear...i think i'm leaning toward the first antique style one!

You can!!! Each piece is just a single costume jewelry pin.....that i attached to the comb...just opened the pin and stuck it thru the teeth on the combs....i really didn't do anything!! Even those of you with no DIY skills can do this...i swear!!!!! hahaha

Those look great!! I bought a brooch for my hair and I was figuring I'd just have my hairdresser bobby pin it in. But this is a great idea! Where did you get the plain combs?
