MY DIY hair trial

...came out amazing! And will only get better with practice. I have really curly hair (ringlet/tight curls) and often wear my natural curls, but for the wedding I wanted something different. I don't really like my hair completely straight, but I love the look of large, soft wavy curls, like from 1940's - and I achieved it. Years ago I used to blow dry my hair straight, then use large curlers to add some shape to it. My hair gets really dried out from blow drying - so instead I bought some jumbo hot rollers (and anti-frizz stuff), and I am so pleased with the results. Hot rollers work especially well to smooth curly hair, making big soft curls. I haven't used curlers in years, but after watching a how-to video I found it pretty easy. I'm planning on wearing my hair like this on Sat for our bachelor/bachelorette party, and I'll see how well my waves hold up all night. So psyched, and CHECK! I approve of my DIY trial and hire myself as my own hairstylist! lol
