i created my own menus that matched my invitations. it was time consuming but not too difficult. if i wouldve known this 4 months ago i would have saved myself A LOT of money and made my own invites too! It was fun making the menus!

Re: My DIY menus
Which paper cutter did you get? Is it still on sale? I have a guillotine one but it seems to be bending a bit in a spot and not cutting perfectly straight there. It drove me nuts when I was doing my save the date magnets...
Also, Which fonts did you use?

Re: My DIY menus
Yes I printed myself. I used my regular printer, nothing fancy.
The paper was : Stardream Metallic Opal - 8.5 x 11 . A 250 Pack was $ 30.88 Then for the back I got Shine ONYX - Shimmer Metallic Card Stock - 8.5 x 11 - 100 PK for $ 34.17
I made the monogram first and saved it as a picture file.
I downloaded fonts from dafont.com or 1001freefonts.com
I downloaded a few fonts but the one I used was SHIPPED GOODS and Segeo Script ( I think that may come with microsoft)

Re: My DIY menus
Your menus look fabulous!!!
How did you make your own monogram? FH and I are doing those ourselves too and we are buying the paper at a place in the city, but cannot figure out how to make our monogram without paying a whole lot online for someone to design one.

My FH told me to trust him and he created our own monogram on PowerPoint...always listen to your fiancee when it comes to technology

Re: My DIY menus
The monOgram was easy. I made 6. Lol. Then picked the on I wanted. Do it in PowerPoint. Create each letter or name as a seperate box. Then you can drag them. , overlay them, change size, etc. When you have your final project save it as a picture.

Re: My DIY menus
Many of you ladies have asked for my template. I have no problem sending it to you but for some reason it is not opening on other peoples computers the same. Im not sure if it is because I downloaded my own fonts or if theres another reason. If there are any tech savy ladies on here who may know the answer- please tell me so I can share the template with all the ladies asking.
