my dog is actually a goat

He is going to be a year next week and he is driving me and FH nuts he eats everything he can get his paws on......paper towels, napkins, paper, the mail, my underwear I could go on and on

He is also a thief because he steals all these things he eats......I hope he grows out of ths because he is just so d a m n cute

I know EXACTLY how you feel.. BUT... my Mimi will be 2 this year and she STILL does all those bad things!! I just can't get mad at her bc everytime I yell at her, she rolls over on her back and I end up petting her belly!!

PS.. she's a 4lb chihuahua

that is so cute Bailey is part chihuahua too........I know every time i yell at him he follows me around like a tail he is too cute I actually am in love with him if that is possible

It must be a chihuahua thing because i have 2 and they both do the same thing they steal things and rip them apart. they even still my nephews toys when we visit there and we find them hidden in their crates. ours do the same thing with the belly trick when we yell at them. you can't stay mad at them for too long

So it takes 2 years for dogs to grow out of this phase?! My pup is only 5 months old, and I'm ready to rip his teeth out! The most disgusting he eats is dead frogs that he finds in our street! But he's constantly eating socks, underwear, phone cords, iPod wires, WALLS, and HIS OWN POOP!!!

THats too funny one of the dogs i have is a chihuahua too and he is the one with the most behavioral problems!!! it definitely has to be the breed because my yorkie is such a good little girl and he is the devil! he does such spiteful things when we go out .. we cant even go anywhere because of him we have to send his mom or my sister to check on them if were going to be out of the house for more than 2 hours

My golden retriever/poodle mix has a split personality. He is either the sweetest/cutest thing ever, or he is eating a shoe/ underwear/ socks/ tupperware/ remote controls/ telephones/ electric shaver (thankfully he didn't swallow any part of he razor!)/ and sometimes his own poop (ewww)

The only thing that helps is if I get him lots of stuffed toys and nylabones to chew and rip apart. He still likes stealing things and having us chase him. The less we chase him, the less he does it. We have a trainer who has explained how the chase is all a game to him. If we get the item away from him without the chase, it is not so much fun for him. Also, lots of long walks and days at the dog park helps. I highly recommend our trainer, h a p p y h o u n d s t r a i n i n g . c o m
