This is the second time thay Missy has shown some aggression and I am a bit nervous about it.
The first time was when we were walking her and she found a chicken bone. We tried to take it from her and she growled and snapped a little. and last night i gave her a pigs ear then took it away and she went ballistic on me - growling and snapping like crazy.
Its weird because she is not like that with her food or anything else. I do know that she is alway trying to be dominant with us and we are trying to break her of that but it is really hard. she doesnt listen to us. she only listens to my trainer.
Im just scared she is gonna turn out to be a bad dog, although my trainer says she is one of the sweetest dogs she has ever seen.

oh that is SO natural!!! First, to break her of dominating you, roll her on her back and lay on top of her, with almost all your weight. This will have to be done when she does something bad as well as randomly or when she is trying to dominate. It shows her you are the boss. It worked with our Rottie and DH also used it on his 1 yr old german shepard when they adopted her and she was a problem.
Secondly, her behavior with the treats is normal. Both my dogs do it to each other when one is chewing on a rawhide/pigs ear/any toy. It's a posessive thing, not aggression. Our rottie will show her teeth, but never bites. once we tell her to drop it, she does.
You can calmly pet her as she chews and as long as she doesn't growl or snap, tell her she's a good dog.

Re: My dog is getting aggressive i think...
In puppy kindergarten we learned to approach our puppies when they had a treat, pet them a while and then take the their and give them some type of reward and then give them their treat back, so they don't feel they need to be possessive.
Regarding the previous suggestion of the 'alpha roll.' Please thouroughly research this before tyring it with your dog. Although it may work for some people, this is no longer a reccomended technique (the monks of New Skete who popularized the technique now advise against it) and can lead to serious problems.
