My dog may go on Prozac!

My dog has been very anxious lately and began scratching at the door every time we left. He's 4 and had never done this before. We met with a trainer and tried so many different approaches, and it helped a bit, but he still claws and hides in the bathtub

So our vet suggested an anti-depressant. He had blood taken today to rule anything else out, and as soon as we get the results, the vet will prescribe something.

I feel so bad for my pooch. He is such a good boy and I want to take his anxiety away but I can't. I hope the medicine helps.

Does anyone else have a depressed dog?

I just recently saw a news show about this, it seems to be more common I hope your puppy is OK
