MY DOG PEED ON MY COUCH

I came home after the LIWeddings party on Saturday to see my dog, who is almost 4 and is house trained.....has left me a wet spot on my beautiful couch!
I wanted to kill her....we were gone for 6 hours..which isn't that long for her...she had gone out before we left and done her buisness.
As if that wasn't awful..>Sunday we came home after being out for only 4 hours and she did it again!!!!!
I couldn't believe my eyes...my DH jumped in to clean it since he saw me turning red.
I can't believe her!!!

Could she have done it out of spite? That's what it sounds like because it is what I call, 'strategic peeing'.

Has your schedule changed? Any major changes around the house?

When I was in college we got a puppy. Well, when the dog was two (old enough) I was home for 9 straight months interning. Would you believe that the day after I left to go back to Ithaca she left a little 'present' right in front of my bedroom door. It was her way of saying '@#$% You' to me for leaving her.

Actually we think it is out of spite as well...she usually just sticks to destroying paper that is left on the table, but that day she upgraded to peeing on furniture while shredding paper!
Since I am a sub. teacher I am somtimes home all day and sometimes not. So thigs are a little outta wack. Nice to know not just my dog does stupid things to stick it to us!!

Dont feel bad, my pup who is house trained, and we just had neutered, lifted his leg and peed against my couch last night. I was so disgusted!!
