i got my dress a few weeks ago i loved it but now lookin at pictures im havin second thoughts ...did anyone feel this way?

very common feeling...dont worry - u chose that dress for a reason and when u try it on in ur size with the right components, ull feel like a princess...take it from me, i cried b/c i hated the dress w/out the bra n right slip - then i went back w/the right things n i loved it...itll be great!!!

I think everyone has that happen--I loved my dress, but once it was ordered I started wondering if I should have gotten something else, shopped more, different style...but I bought it for a bunch of reasons, the main one being that I loved it! If you loved it when you bought it, you'll love it when it comes in. If you felt pressured when you got it, got talked into it, wasn't sure, or thought 'good enough,' than maybe you might want to rethink when it arrives, but wait until it arrives and you can try it on again with proper undergarments and shoes.

awww i know what you mean! it happens a lot.
i loved my gown in the store, and then when i found it online, the pic of the skinny biitch model on the mon cheri website, made me think 'that dress won't look good on me!'
then i said , let me wait till it comes in and i'll decide. i got the gown, and after my first fitting, i was sure i bought the wrong gown. it would never look right on me! but after many hugs on here, i realized i had to have faith in my seamstress
had my 3rd fitting this past week, and i am more in love with my gown than i ever was!!
it's okay to have some doubts here and there, but you chose your dress that day cause something in you said 'This is the one', and that will come back to you when you put it on again!

Yes that is what happens. I was told once you get your dress don't look at anymore. And that is what I am doing. Although I was peeking at some the other day and was like wow but I stopped looking.

It's really hard not to though--I still want to look at bridal magazines, and they're filled with ads, and then there's the gowns people post on boards like this. Gowns are everywhere! It's not like I'm going to salons and trying on more gowns. Although I'm really tempted to go back and try on my gown again, just so I can think more about hair and jewelry. And maybe get someone to sneak a photo. My dress isn't coming in for months, I want to see it!

The experience of trying on your dress again, once your hair and makeup is done, with your veil and all that on your wedding day- you won't regret it then!!!

I feel the same way sometimes! The lady at the shop told me not to look anymore. I guess it happens to everyone.

I love my dress, but yup I did the same thing. I probably could have chosen 30 wedding dresses to wear on our wedding day, but I chose mine for a reason and I know that. My doubts have now gone away, as will yours.

I get gown envy now and then but I trust myself- it's hard when yours isn't in yet and you see all these other dresses! bUt when it comes in, you will know why you picked it!!

Yes! I did this 2 weekends ago! I went back to the store and tried it on and fell in love with my dress all over again. Totally normal! You just have to stop looking, but if you really think there might be another dress out there for you, make another appointment, try on yours and maybe 2 or 3 others. You'll probably go back to the first one!

YES! I went all around trying on new ones... sit down and think about what exactly you don't like. With a few changes (which were very affordable), I wound up sticking with my dress and LOVED IT!
