my dress came in =)

got the call that my dress came in
now my question is, how do i keep it from getting discolored and all dusty?
i have a bag to put in it but anyone have any other suggestions???
the wedding isnt until a year and 4 months

Can't the bridal shop hold onto it until your fittings?? I'm sure they know how to store them.

david's told me to coccoon it in a white 100% cotton high thread count sheet - in the bag with 4 inches unzippered

ok i just spoke to them lol they said i can take it cause they only hold it for 6 weeks after it comes in, then closer to the date, i can go in for alterations if needed closer to the wedding date.

ask the bridal shop to hold it till your fittings. Theyre usually good with that

i cant wait for my dress to come in...i ordered it around the same time as you..
the bridal suite i ordered my dress from is storing my dress for free...definetely something uve gotta ask them...i feel much more comfortable having them store my dress rather than me...

i ordered my dress around then as well.. i cant wait for it to come in! i think they told me it wont be in for 6-9 months though. i sure hope not.. i wanna put it on again

My sister got her dress really early. They said loosely wrap it in a clean white sheet and then put it in the bag but check on it every once in a while.

Wow, that was fast. They always make it seem like it can take 6 months to come in. I'd see if they could hold on to it until you go for your fitting. I don't see why they wouldn't if you ask.
