Just curious - do corset dresses need a lot of alterations?
I know that my dress needs to be shortened, but what else do they do?
How much do alterations tend to cost at the bridal shop?

My corset dress needs a hem, and some material added on top (I'm pretty busty). That's it!

I believe I read on your other post that you got it at Lilettes...
JMO... I got my bridesmaid dress there for a wedding LY... I thought the prices they charge are outrageous... Way overpriced... JMO... but that is the only place I went to so maybe its just like that everywhere.

Usually alterations are around 200 and up. I'm not sure what alterations you need, but the price always varies depending on the size of dress they ordered for you.

There is usually a cap on the price of alterations. Mine is $140 I think. It is a lot but my dress was hem to hollow so the length should be perfect and also a corset back which unless your weight changes by more than 3-5 lbs it should be fine. HTH
