I got the call on Thursday and went to try it on Saturday! Here are a couple of photos. These don’t really do it justice since it looks totally different on. I will post better photos on the Facebook group ;) I am going to have straps added that are similar to the photo in the middle as well as replacing the bling on the belt w/ fabric flowers that go with my color scheme - like this: [Found on Etsy by Rosy Posy Designs]
I had been worrying about my dress since it’s so hard to visualize how it will look with the alterations. However – the women at Angel Bridal are great and I feel much more confident now. The seamstress had a lot of good suggestions/solutions. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Thank you! That’s the look I’m going for :)
I think I am the most excited about the sash! My aunt/godmother is going to make it for me using some fabrics that belonged to my grandma’s.

Thanks! I knew all along that I didn’t want a strapless dress and would have preferred to have one that I didn’t have to alter, but this one was too hard to pass up!
I’ve been debating on what style of straps I wanted for a while. I was originally thinking key hole back style, but I am wearing my hair down so you’d hardly be able to see or appreciate it anyway. It’s easier to visualize the dress with the style I found above and I love it!

Haha, are you me? I advocated not getting a strapless and I ended up with one. At least its lace, which is what I wanted most of all.
I do like the straps in the picture you posted. It's giving me ideas about my dress too.

Haha! We must be twin brides!
The bridal shop I got the dress from the going use the same lace that the dress is made of for the straps (either from the hem or they will order extra). I think it will really help make the dress look like it came that way.
