I order my dress 2 weeks ago today and suddenly I receieved a call and the dress already have arrived. I thought it would take months to make the dress but I guess that is not the case.
I was wondering, since I am moving to PA in a few weeks, does any one want to come with me when I try it on? I haven't set up a date because this is just a surprise (receieved the call a few seconds ago) but I would love to have a few of you here to check out the dress in person. WOW I'm so excited... and shocked.

If you can't go, don't worry, pics will be posted later that day or the next day since I am going to a showcase for Echo Ent. for the reception.
Then again, that's later in the day and I have hours to spare. So you will see the dress on me.

i ordered mine from RK bridal too and got a call a week after i ordered it! I'm thinking since its a 2008 collection that theres just more in stock? i'm not sure. But i have to call them to try it on too.

I was just shocked that it did came so soon. I understand David's Bridal but never expected from RK. I guess they had it in stock at Jacquelin Bridal and send it right away, even though my wedding is in 08.

wow, they said my dress would take 6 mos. so that would be in march, and i havent heard a thing...

They told me 4 months. Like I said, plenty of pics next week. I'm planning to stop by RK Bridal during my 2nd break to look at veils.

I just came back from RK Bridal (had an hour break from work) and was looking at veils. Grr I wish I can try on the dress so I pick a veil already. I think it's come down to either only having a veil or only having a tiara (my hair is going to be down) but that's all depending on how it looks with the dress.
Only 6 more days til I try my dress.
Btw, getting your other stuff there will give you a 10% off on the items.

oh if i didnt work i would have loved to take a ride with you! have fun trying it on. i just tried mine on today. its a weird feeling to know that aeverything is starting to fall into place. good luck w/everything!

My fitting is at 11am at RK Bridal in the city. It's not far from Penn Station, so I can take it from there or take the 'E' train to Jamaica as well. From there, I'm all free to go out to the island. I really wanna go to to Wedding World for inspiration.
