MY DRESS IS HOME!!!!

My dress is finally here. My seamstress had my pickup date mixed up but she was able to get it pressed for me in an hour! It was too hectic to drive into the city so my sister helped me carry my dress on the train back home! Shes hanging on my wedding airing out. YAY!!!!

Any suggestions on where to keep her?

how exciting! i'm getting mine on wednesday. i'm not sure where i'm going to keep her either! somewhere away from my dog!!!

How exciting!!! I wouldn't put her in a closet....maybe the back of a room door or closet....the wedding is so close!!!

I had taken the dress out (picked it up three day before the wedding) and hung it in my dad's study on the window with the blinds closed and made sure it was all unfolded out of the garmet bag. I actually took a chair and sat in it and stared at it for like four hours IoI

Yay for picking up your dress....I'm getting mine on 10.18 I didn't want to have it in the house too long. I'm hanging it in my friends spare room.

I would hang it behind the door of your closet or room. That way nothing it touching against it and it wont get wrinkled.

My dress is lace so the guy at Macys said it shouldnt get wrinkled... but will my dress yellow if I hung it by the window with the shades closed?

it won't unless its there for a month, a few days up to a week will be fine. Just make sure the blinds are closed and there is not near a kitchen (food smell will be absorbed)
