Thanks everyone!!! Yes im super excited and that was so quick!!! I just ordered it the first week of February!! I dont know if I am going to take pics until I start the altreations.. they ordered it like 5 sizes to big for some reason ( actually the reason being my big hips lol) so the top is really huge and just dosent fit right. We will see though!!!!!

I dont know!! lol its way to early and I dont want to do my alterations there.... I heard bad things about the lady who does them PLUS its way to far for me to be traveling back and forth the week of the wedding!! lol So now I have to find someone in queens to do my alterations!!!

So what happens now (excuse my ignorance regarding gowns!) Do you take it home and find a seamstress? And it will stay in your apt until the wedding??? Or with the seamstress?
I dont know of any in Queens at all. I was going to ask those nice ladies in Whitepoint shopping center if they could help me out.

Its ok!! Well I go pick it up this weekend, pay the balence and then I am going to store it in my old bedroom at my mothers house. I dont want to leave it in the apt. b/c Im afraid you know who will see it! lol I was also thinking of asking the ladies at whitepoint!!! it would be very conveniant for me plus they did my prom dress and prep uniforms awhile back.... hmmm I wonder how much they will charge.. maybe I will go in this week

Oooooo let me know how much they charge!!! I might just go there for convenience. And the fact that they are so freakin nice.
On the other hand, I just realized that I should probably get alterations done at the store I purchase the dress from....cause I have nowhere to store it! DUH!
Anyway I am so glad your dress is in!!!!!

I have to pick mine up... commack dosent let you store it there unless you give them $$$ lol no way when I can store it at my moms for free!! also that way i dont feel as quilty when I dont do the alterations there lol I dont need that much done.... just hemmed and taken in... and I guess a bustle.. i dont know if there is any point since the train is so short
