my dress is in - i'm happy and scared

My Dress is in! Woot!

I've never been so happy and scared at the same time... what if it doesnt fit ?!?!?!

I scheduled an appointment to go look at it tonight - if I had to wait a week to try it on I’d have a weeklong ulcer; this way I’ll only have a daylong ulcer…

I know how you feel. I got my call last week. I need to go in and check it out and I have the same fears about it fitting. I was doing South Beach for a while, and kind of fell of the wagon for a few weeks, but yesterday I started back full force.

I'm doing Atkins - have lost 80 pounds total, and 10 pounds since the dress measuring. Still scared though!

This will probably be the kick in the pants that I need to get going again!

80lbs! That's phenominal. How long have you been doing it? My problem is that I enjoy food too much. It's not a hunger issue.

WOW! That's great news that your dress is in. I'm afraid to try mine on because I got off the bandwagon of dieting because I figured I would have until August until I had to try it on....opps! I'm sure it will look just beautiful. IF you need to, they can take the dress out???

I feel your pain, girl.
Mine came in last week. I won't see it untill the fitting- in August- 6 weeks before hand.
I have gained 15 lbs since I ordered it! I am curious how tight it is now, so I'd have a better idea of how much work I need to do.

Atkins - I understand about loving food - good thing is that I can eat the foods that I love (cheese and nuts and such).

I thought I needed potatoes and pasta; but I really don't!

That's why I'm finding South Beach easier than Weight Watchers. From what I understand SBD is close to Atkins. If you don't mind my asking, how long did it take you to lose the 80lbs? Any tricks? Tips? Do you exercise regularly...I have trouble prioritizing exercise into my schedule...and I know that's one of my downfalls.

80 pounds in about 6 months - but I have (had) a lot to loose.. I could still lose another 80 pounds.

I don't do any specific exercise plan - bad I know. But I walk and bike and such. I've plateau'ed now, so if I dont lose anymore weight in a week or two, im gong to start up an exercise plan slowly.
