So I got a card in the mail... my dress is in! My wedding is not untill June however, I'm an out of town bride and won't be back again untill may. Should I have a first fitting now? It's a Marisa gown and I'm excited to see it and get a picture of it finally :)

It seems like it would be a good idea to get one done now while you are in town just to make sure there are no major alterations needed.

Can someone pick it up for you and bring it to you? How far out of town are you? I wouldnt wait until May... it's cutting it kinda close, plus thats prime time for dress alterations since its the start of the 'wedding season'

im an out of town bride too, I went home to try it on just to make sure it was ordered correctly and that it was the right color and just look it over.
I am having my fittings in april or may, but if i waited till then to look at it, and something was wrong, id be screwed :(

You really don't have to start your fittings until a few months before the wedding.
